Odell Brewing Co, having partnered with Logic on 2 other locations, once again brought in Logic to assist with technology plans in a completely new concept. Odell secured a historic building in the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood of Denver CO and brought a new business concept to it.
This would be the first location to feature a full kitchen along with a brewery. Odell also wanted to be sure to incorporate live music and a state-of-the art audio system in the space. Being that this location has 2 levels for dining, they wanted to be sure that all content could be distributed throughout the entire building easily.
The building required a full demo from the construction crew. It was completely gutted and rebuilt. It also had a roof deck being built. The main dining area had very tall ceilings, which created potential issues for acoustics, and the displays were to be placed in specific areas to ensure that viewability was adequate from anywhere in the space.
Coordinating with the construction team and allied trades was critical for the success of this project. Security was also a major concern for the client due to the neighborhood being very busy. The roof deck that was built out had a requirement for clear audio but could not be too loud due to an apartment complex right next to the building.
Logic Integration provided a Crestron control system consistent to the previous locations so that the experience is familiar for the end user. Logic also utilized full-range pendant mounted speakers with built-in subwoofers in the main dining area to ensure that the audio is clear all throughout. For live music, an XLR connection was provided at the stage area with an Allen & Heath mixing board. A surveillance system with proactive security notifications was also provided so that potential security threats could be identified in advance of an event. The upper level featured large in-wall speakers and the roof deck featured landscape audio speakers that allow for low volume and clear detail so that the apartments next door are not disturbed. Logic utilized a Binary MoIP system to distribute content to the displays throughout the space.
