Introduction:
Logic Integration was referred to the owner of this 4,000 sq. ft. historic downtown Denver loft by a long-time builder relationship. The loft underwent an extensive remodel to prepare for selling it. The owner of the loft wanted a simple technology solution that would compliment the design as well as help the condo appeal to a buyer.
Challenges:
Historic buildings require special attention and care throughout the entire construction process. Special accommodations had to be made on the builder’s scope as well as Logic Integration’s scope to maintain the integrity of the historic building. The owner of the building wanted to make sure that the technology would operate reliably, would be familiar to a potential buyer, and that it could be easily scaled and customized once a buyer was confirmed.
Solutions:
Logic Integration was able to overcome the challenges by carefully planning all of the low-voltage infrastructure with the builder and owner while aligning with allied trades (electricians, HVAC contractors, fire suppression contractors) to ensure the delivered product met expectations. This large loft includes a whole-home network, lighting control, HVAC control, audio distribution, and a pre-wire to support any future technology needs that the final buyer would like. Logic Integration provided a Crestron Home OS3 system to centrally operate the systems.
