Introduction:

Galloway, a distinguished architectural design and engineering company with a dedicated office space in Greenwood Village, CO, recognized the need for cutting-edge video teleconferencing solutions and presentation systems. To address this need, they reached out to Logic Integration, a trusted expert in audio-visual and home automation solutions, to equip their meeting spaces with the latest technology.

Challenges:

The project posed several challenges. The task was to integrate advanced teleconferencing and presentation technology into Galloway’s office space in a manner that catered to their current needs but also accounted for future advancements and shifts in technology. Considering the diverse array of high-end equipment, meticulous planning and execution were required, ensuring seamless connectivity and user-friendly interfaces.

Solutions:

Logic Integration curated an array of top-tier technology from renowned manufacturers to meet these challenges. The main conference room, medium conference room, and Galloway’s Community meeting space were all equipped with the UVC84 Yealink camera, providing exceptional video quality for all teleconferencing needs. The main conference room featured equipment from Crestron, Biamp, AVPro Edge, Marshall Electronics, and Planar. These devices offered advanced features and reliable performance. Galloway’s Community meeting space was also equipped with a Sony projector and a large motorized screen, offering an immersive visual experience for larger gatherings and presentations. The medium conference room was outfitted with Crestron equipment, along with Yealink’s A30 Meeting Sound Bar. The latter provided high-quality audio and video performance, with dual camera lenses—one offering a zoom lens focusing on the presenter and the other giving a wide shot of the room.

Crestron: AirMedia Series 3 Receiver 100 with Wi-Fi Connectivity, 4-Series Room Media Controller, Passive Infrared Occupancy Sensor with Cresnet, Flex Advanced Video Conference System Integrator Kit with a Wall Mounted Control Interface, and Flex Support.
Biamp: Devio SCX 400 conference room hub, Desono P6 White Pendant, Indoor/Outdoor 6.5″ Coaxial Loudspeaker.
AVPro Edge: USB 2.0 via HDBaseT 100 Meter Extender, Parlé TCM-1EX expansion AVB ceiling microphone.
Marshall Electronics: CV610-U3B-V2 Compact PTZ Camera with USB 3.0/2.0 and HDMI.
Planar: URX100 100in diagonal, UHD, D-LED backlight, 700 nit brightness, HDR, 24×7 reliability, multi-source viewing, speakers, OPS slot, landscape, and portrait.
Yealink: A30 Meeting Sound Bar, equipped with dual camera lenses offering a zoom lens for presenter focus and a wide shot lens for comprehensive room view, and UVC84 camera for exceptional video quality.
Sony: High-quality projector, delivering an immersive visual experience when paired with the large motorized screen in Galloway’s Community meeting space.

Results:

The implementation was a resounding success. Galloway’s main and medium conference rooms, as well as the Community meeting space, were transformed into state-of-the-art teleconferencing and presentation hubs. The project not only met Galloway’s immediate needs but also set the stage for future technology advancements. The seamless integration of technology across the rooms allowed Galloway’s team to operate the systems with ease, greatly improving productivity.
