Introduction:

Colorado State University Global is an online public university that is a member of the Colorado State University System. Founded in 2007, CSU Global is headquartered in Aurora, Colorado. CSU Global offers online undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs

Challenges:

CSU Global is a previous client of Logic Integration. Logic was asked to design, install, and service a new multi room A/V and automation system for CSU.

Solutions:

The AV system consists of six configurable meeting rooms and training rooms. Each room has multiple Sony displays and multiple QSC PTZ cameras. Room scheduling panels are accessible outside of each room to eliminate meeting disruptions and allow for smooth, efficient room transitions. Crestron touchscreens provide user-friendly call features along with seamless transitioning between presenters and complete room configuration control. The facility also features air walls which are movable and have integrated Crestron magnetic sensors to determine the room configuration. This allows for the end-user to automatically know the room configuration preset when the walls are moved into the shape. Each room features Shure ceiling tile microphones with QSC backbone and Crestron control. IDF closet consists of 1 44 space Middle Atlantic AV rack with Wattbox power and remote management for all the A/V components.
