About:

The Sportsbook Bar & Grill owners, Judson Dymond & Jeremy Malone, partnered with Logic Integration to assist with technology plans for their newest location in Highlands Ranch, CO. They wanted to bring a similar vibe from their 2 previous locations but on a much grander scale and easier control of the AV system. Their focus was to provide the very best experience where their customers are able to watch Football, Soccer, Basketball, Rugby, UFC, Baseball or whatever sport they love, while enjoying great food and drinks with friends and family.

Challenges:

The building interior required a full remodel from the construction crew. It was completely gutted and rebuilt. It also had an outdoor patio being finished out. The main dining area had open ceilings and a lot of hard surfaces, which created potential issues for acoustics, and the displays and video wall locations were placed in specific areas to ensure that viewability was optimum from anywhere in the space. Coordinating with the construction team and allied trades was critical for the success of this project. Another challenge was how to seamlessly control the 40 displays, video wall, audio zones, and more with many new staff members at each shift change.

Solutions:

With the help of Logic Integration, the homeowner is now able to enjoy a state-of-the-art Crestron Home™ system that is both user friendly and scalable for any future plans that might expand the technology experience.  As a project that faced deployment amidst the pandemic, Logic Integration was able to use Crestron Home to remotely navigate their way through parts of the integration.

Key Technologies:

Logic Integration provided a Crestron control system to allow for the source selection of the 25 4K inputs to the 60 4K receivers as well as the ability to recall 10 presets on the 24’ x 6.5’ Planar Video Wall. The 1.5 pixel pitch allows for clear up close viewing of this 24 foot wide massive display. AM and PM presets were incorporated onto the touch panel as to create a 1 touch solution for simple execution so that the technology was not primary focus as SportsBook employees prepared for the customer arrival each day. Logic utilized a Binary Media Over IP system to distribute content to the displays throughout the space and a mix full-range pendant and surface mounted speakers in the main dining area as well as the outdoor, covered patio to ensure that the audio is clear throughout.
