Odell Brewing Co

Odell Brewing Co., a Fort Collins-based craft brewing company, partnered with Logic Integration to provide audio and video solutions for their new Tap Room in the River North Arts District of Denver. The company is one of the largest U.S. craft brewing companies and has always had their single location in Fort Collins. They wanted to expand with a brewery location in Denver and chose the historic River North Arts District (RiNo) as the location of choice. The tap room was a much smaller location than their main facility in Fort Collins and acted as a pilot program for possible future brewing locations.

Most of the buildings in the RiNo area have been around for decades. The area has undergone much change in the last few years, but the historic integrity of the buildings and architecture have remained. This building was no exception. The building interior had to be carefully built out due to the softness of the decades-old brick, which Odell Brewing Co wanted to leave intact. Featuring open ceilings and soft brick wall surfaces, Logic had to take extra caution while working to ensure that none of the building was compromised. Also – being that this location was a pilot program, Logic had to work closely with Odell to ensure that a reasonable technology budget was established to deliver maximum impact.

Logic utilized Sony displays in the upper tap room area mounted to the ceiling rafters via Chief mounts. A 4-zone audio system was provided and, due to the open ceiling, the speakers selected were pendant-style speakers and subwoofers. Logic also mounted a 90” display above a stairwell, utilizing the ceiling rafters and a dual-pole mount to ensure it was stable. A live performance area was set up for singer/songwriter music. Outdoor speakers were mounted onto the surface of the building and poles near the back of the listening area for adequate coverage. The system is controlled via (2) Crestron hard-button panels at the bar area.
